Disruptive Technology is all about replacing established technology with new, ground-breaking technology that can revolutionise an industry, read here to find out more.

This years CIH Repairs & Maintenance at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, focused on disruptive technology, how it will change many aspects of residential housing and how it is managed. With some excellent presentations from Notting Hill Genesis and Plentific on their new platform, as well as Fortem on their new app, it was clear how technology is being used to improve and streamline facilities management across all communal residential properties.

All of this talk made us realise how well placed KMS and its SimpleKey Web is. As a disruptive technology in its own right, KMS has revolutionised the way residential access control is managed from the cloud, leading to significant time and cost saving, not to mention increased security. However, whilst the show was all about technology, it was also a great opportunity for us to talk to our customers, partners and suppliers alike and, dare I say it, have some fun. As is always the case, the CIH held a great dinner, although there was some dubious use of phones in the quiz. The evening was a great success, but I am not sure the same can be said for the next morning, there weren’t many bright and cheery exhibitors first thing.

Once again, we had a great event and found it to be as successful as any we have attended so far this year.

Our roadshow now moves on to Housing 2018 at Manchester Central on 26-28 June, we look forward to seeing you there.
